MIRA is made by Noctara. A creator claims a mirror and posts one link. A fan who follows that link answers six questions, gets their own reading back free, and keeps it. The creator sees their audience as patterns. A fan appears to a creator only by that fan's explicit yes, and that yes can be taken back. This page says what is collected, who can see it, and how to remove it.
What we collect
- What a fan writes in their reading. The answers to the six questions, and the word and line the reading returns. This is processed to produce the reading and stored so the fan can come back to it.
- How it was written. While a person types, the reading measures the rhythm of the writing: timing, pauses, deletions, speed. That rhythm sharpens the reading. It is not used to identify anyone to anyone else.
- Email, for a fan only if they give it to save the reading, and for a creator to run the mirror and sign in.
- Creator account details: the name fans know, the handle, the plan, and the ordinary billing record held by our payment processor. We do not store card numbers.
What a creator can see
A creator never sees a reading a fan did not hand them. The fan sees their own reading first, on their own screen, and keeps everything whether or not they share.
A fan who chooses to share appears to that one creator with their word and their rhythm. Everything else reaches the creator only as patterns across the audience, and those patterns stay locked until at least five fans have shared, so no single person can be read out of an aggregate. The parts of a reading that could be used to move a person are never shown to anyone, including the creator.
On Creator Pro, fans who additionally consent to being reached can be exported or synced to the creator's own tools. That consent is separate, and it is revocable like the rest.
Taking consent back
A fan can withdraw a share at any time and the creator stops seeing that word and rhythm. Revocation works going forward and it is not a request queue. A fan can see everything anyone can be told about them, and close any door, at noctaracorp.com/consent.
The File
A fan who claims their reading starts a Continuity File that they own: portable, consented line by line, revocable, and never backfillable. MIRA never sees inside a fan's File. What a creator sees is only what that fan chose to share with that creator.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We never train a shared model on what you write.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not hand a creator any signal about how to influence a fan.
How it is stored
Readings are stored on managed cloud infrastructure. Producing a reading uses an automated language model. What is written is sent for that single purpose and is not used to train external models. The retention and destruction schedule is published on the Noctara privacy notice.
Exporting or deleting
You can export or delete everything you have given MIRA at any time. Deleting removes the reading and the writing-rhythm data behind it. You can also email hello@noctaracorp.com and we will do it for you.
Age
You must be 18 or older to create a mirror. MIRA is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
